Aqua d'Or Water

Aqua d'Or is a premium Danish mineral water brand that originates from a protected underground source in Fasterholt, Jutland, Denmark. The water is naturally filtered through layers of sand and quartz over a period of many years, resulting in a high-purity product.

Originally established as an independent Danish company, the brand gained significant international recognition for its minimalist design and quality. It was acquired by the French multinational food-products corporation Danone in 2015. However, in line with Danone's strategic shift to focus on its largest international water brands, the Danish company Royal Unibrew reached an agreement to acquire Aqua d'Or. The acquisition was finalized and approved in 2022, bringing the brand back under Danish ownership. Today, Aqua d'Or continues to be bottled at its original source in Denmark and is a leading player in the Nordic water market.
