Sinalco is a historic German soft drink brand, famous for being the oldest soft drink brand in continental Europe. Founded in 1902 in Detmold, Germany, by Franz Hartmann and Friedrich Eduard Bilz, the brand was originally named 'Bilz-Brause' before being renamed Sinalco (derived from the Latin 'sine alcohole' - without alcohol) in 1905. The brand is easily recognized by its iconic red circle logo, which was introduced in 1937.

Today, Sinalco is a globally recognized beverage brand, though its strongest market remains Germany and neighboring European countries. In 1994, the trademark rights were acquired by the Hövelmann family, owners of the beverage group Getränke-Gruppe Hövelmann based in Duisburg. The products are manufactured primarily in Germany through various bottling partners and subsidiaries, maintaining the brand's long-standing heritage of German quality and innovation in the carbonated soft drink sector.
