Cadbury Twirl chocolate bars

Cadbury Twirl is a popular chocolate bar consisting of two flakes of milk chocolate enrobed in a layer of creamy chocolate. Originally launched by Cadbury Ireland in 1970 as a single-bar variant before evolving into the twin-bar format we see today, it has become a staple of the global confectionery market.

While the brand's heritage is deeply rooted in Birmingham, England, and the Republic of Ireland, the modern ownership structure has changed significantly. In 2010, the American multinational Kraft Foods acquired Cadbury in a high-profile takeover. Later, Kraft Foods split into two companies, and the confectionery and snack divisions were rebranded as Mondelez International. Today, Mondelez International owns the Cadbury brand globally, with major manufacturing hubs continuing in Bournville (UK) and Coolock (Ireland), alongside various other international production sites to meet global demand.
