Old Holborn rolling tobacco

Old Holborn is a historic brand of hand-rolling tobacco that dates back to its creation in 1785 by Richard Lloyd in London. The brand takes its name from the Holborn district of London, where it was originally produced. Over the centuries, it has become one of the most recognizable names in the dark tobacco market, known for its distinctive blue and yellow packaging and traditional blend.

Today, the brand is owned by the global tobacco conglomerate Japan Tobacco International (JTI). While it maintains its British heritage, manufacturing occurs in various international facilities across Europe and Asia to meet global demand. Following the acquisition of the Gallaher Group by JTI in 2007, Old Holborn has been integrated into JTI’s expansive portfolio, which manages its production, distribution, and global marketing strategies.
