Tata Sky Remote Control

Tata Sky (now known as Tata Play) is one of India's leading Direct-To-Home (DTH) satellite television providers. The brand was established as a joint venture between the Tata Group, one of India's largest and most respected conglomerates, and The Walt Disney Company (formerly 21st Century Fox).

While the hardware, including remote controls and set-top boxes, is often designed specifically for the Indian market, manufacturing typically takes place in China through third-party electronics electronics manufacturers. However, in recent years, the brand has shifted a significant portion of its production to India under the 'Make in India' initiative. The brand underwent a major rebranding in 2022 to become Tata Play, expanding its scope to include OTT content services alongside traditional satellite broadcasting.
