As do Mar / Dongwon Tuna

This product is a flexible pouch of tuna in olive oil. Based on the packaging labels, it is produced in Senegal by SCASA (Société de Conserverie en Afrique S.A.), a major tuna processing facility. The packaging prominently features the Dongwon logo, indicating the ownership by the South Korean multinational conglomerate.

Dongwon Group acquired the manufacturing assets in Senegal to support its global supply chain. In the Italian market, these products are often distributed by licensed partners or subsidiaries like Generale Conserve (As do Mar) or Daltam El Cibao, as seen on the label. The tuna is caught in the Atlantic Ocean (FAO Area 34) and processed locally in Dakar before being exported to European markets like Italy.
