Alfaliquid is a pioneering French brand in the electronic cigarette industry, established in 2010 by the Gaïatrend company based in Rohrbach-lès-Bitche, Lorraine. The brand is renowned for being one of the first French manufacturers to laboratory-test and certify its liquids, holding the 'Origine France Garantie' label which ensures that the vast majority of the product's value is created in France.

Historically a family-run business, Gaïatrend (the owner of Alfaliquid) was acquired in 2024 by ITG Holding France, a subsidiary of the British multinational Imperial Brands. This acquisition integrated the leading French e-liquid manufacturer into a global tobacco and nicotine product portfolio. Today, the products are still primarily manufactured in their high-tech French facilities to maintain the quality standards the brand is known for.
