Lorenz ErdnußLocken, also known as 'Curlys' in some international markets, are a classic German peanut puff snack. Introduced to the German market in 1963, they were the first peanut puffs of their kind in Germany, following the success of a similar product in France. These savory snacks are made from corn semolina and freshly ground peanuts.

The brand is owned by Lorenz Snack-World, a major European snack manufacturer that remains an independent family-owned business. The company's roots trace back to 1889, when Hermann Bahlsen founded the Hannoversche Cakesfabrik. In 1999, the Bahlsen family restructured the company, splitting the sweet and salty divisions; the savory snacks branch became what is now known as Lorenz Snack-World. Today, the company is led by the fourth generation of the Bahlsen family, specifically Moritz Bahlsen. Manufacturing takes place across several state-of-the-art facilities, with major plants located in Germany (such as Neunburg vorm Wald and Hankensbüttel) as well as international sites in Poland and beyond.
