Dia Láctea is the exclusive private-label dairy brand of the Spanish supermarket chain DIA (Distribuidora Internacional de Alimentación). Launched in 2021 as part of the company's "New Quality" transformation project, the brand was established to offer 100% Spanish-sourced dairy products, supporting local producers and ensuring animal welfare standards.

The whipping cream (nata para montar) is manufactured in Spain, primarily by specialized dairy partners such as Iberleche, S.L.U., which operates facilities in locations like Pontedeume (A Coruña). This localized production strategy allows the brand to maintain a fresh supply chain while adhering to European sustainability and quality certifications.

Ownership of the brand rests with the DIA Group, which has been under the control of the investment firm LetterOne since 2019. Headquartered in Las Rozas, Madrid, DIA remains a major player in the Iberian retail market, focusing on proximity-based discount shopping and a revamped private label portfolio that emphasizes local sourcing and transparent labeling.
