Over the decades, the company expanded through mergers and acquisitions, eventually becoming part of Centrale del Latte d'Italia S.p.A. In 2020, a major shift in ownership occurred when the Italian food group Newlat Food S.p.A. acquired a controlling stake in the company. Today, the brand is part of the Newlat Group (under NewPrinces S.p.A.), which stands as the third-largest player in the Italian dairy market, managing several iconic local brands while maintaining its headquarters in Reggio Emilia and Turin.
