Edox is a prestigious Swiss watch manufacturer with a history dating back to 1884. The brand was founded by Christian Ruefli-Flury in Biel/Bienne, Switzerland, following a romantic gesture where he crafted a pocket watch for his wife's 25th birthday. Encouraged by her, he established what would become a pioneer in water-resistant timepieces.

The Delfin collection, famously known as "The Water Champion," was first launched in 1961. It introduced groundbreaking innovations like the double O-ring system and a reinforced case back, which set new industry standards for water resistance and shock protection. Today, Edox remains one of the few independent Swiss watch brands. It is family-owned and operated by the Strambini family, with its contemporary manufacturing and headquarters located in Les Genevez, in the heart of the Swiss Jura Mountains.
