Marcel's Green Soap Hygienic Wipes Patchouli & Cranberry

Marcel's Green Soap was founded in 2016 by Marcel Belt in Haarlem, Netherlands. Inspired by his three daughters and a desire to create sustainable alternatives to traditional harsh chemicals, Belt utilized his extensive experience at Unilever to develop a range of eco-friendly home care products. The brand is built on three core pillars: smelling wonderful, working effectively, and being environmentally friendly.

The products are characterized by their 100% plant-based fibers, vegan formulations, and 100% recycled plastic packaging. Manufacturing primarily takes place in the Netherlands, with early production starting in a small soap factory in Utrecht.

In recent years, the brand has grown significantly, expanding across Western Europe. As of 2024, the brand is part of The Green Soap Company (which also includes the Driehoek Zeep brand) and was acquired by the Altaïr Group, a French company specializing in home care and maintenance products, which acts as the ultimate owner.
