Chocolatemakers is a craft bean-to-bar chocolate producer based in Amsterdam, Netherlands. Founded in 2011 by Rodney Nikkels and Enver Loke, the brand is distinguished by its commitment to a fully sustainable and transparent supply chain. The company operates its own solar-powered factory in the Amsterdam port, where they handle every stage of production from roasting organic cocoa beans to molding the final bars.

Ownership remains independent and private, steered by the original founders. A unique aspect of their operation is the 'Tres Hombres' project, where a portion of their cocoa beans is transported from the Caribbean to the Netherlands via a zero-emission sailing cargo ship. This emphasis on ecological footprint extends to their packaging, which is compostable and plastic-free.
