Panini is the world's leading brand in sports and entertainment collectibles, most famous for its iconic FIFA World Cup sticker albums. Founded in 1961 by the Panini brothers in Modena, Italy, the company revolutionized the industry by creating machinery that could automate the packaging and mixing of stickers to ensure variety in every pack.

While its heart remains in Italy, Panini is a global operation. Manufacturing primarily takes place in Modena and Bologna, Italy, but significant production for the American markets occurs in São Paulo, Brazil, and through its Panini America subsidiary in Texas. As of late 2025 and heading into 2026, the brand is undergoing a major strategic evaluation, with reports indicating a possible sale to industry giants like Fanatics/Topps or private equity firms following the death of its longtime CEO, Aldo Hugo Sallustro.
