Riviera & Bar kettle

Riviera & Bar is a renowned French brand specializing in small kitchen appliances, established in 1968 in Marseille. Originally known for plant boxes with water reservoirs, the company pivoted to espresso machines and other culinary appliances following a significant patent development. Over the years, the brand has built a reputation for high-end, precision-engineered products, particularly in the breakfast and beverage categories, such as adjustable temperature kettles and automatic tea makers.

While the brand maintains its design and engineering headquarters in Mundolsheim, Alsace (France), manufacturing is handled in multiple locations. While some high-end product lines like planchas have been produced in France since 2021, most of their electronic consumer goods, including kettles, are typically manufactured in China to meet global demand while maintaining European design standards. Ownership of the brand has transitioned through several stages: it was acquired by Astoria in 1998, then became part of the Cogia group, and as of 2023, it is under the umbrella of the Lavafields Group, a Franco-Belgian entity that also recently acquired the famous Magimix brand.
