Historically a family-owned enterprise, Lacer was acquired by the Italian pharmaceutical giant Italfarmaco Group in 2022. This acquisition integrated Lacer's extensive dental and personal care portfolio into a broader European healthcare network. While the brand operates under new ownership, its core manufacturing and research and development continue to be centered in Spain, specifically at its facility in Cerdanyola del Vallès, Barcelona.
