In 1928, Calvé-Delft was acquired by Margarine Unie, which subsequently merged with Lever Brothers in 1930 to form Unilever. While the original factory in Delft was a primary production site for decades, manufacturing is now distributed across multiple European locations to serve various markets, including the Netherlands, Italy, and Spain.
