Rapoo is a well-established Chinese brand specializing in wireless computer peripherals. Founded in 2002 as a pioneer in wireless technology, the brand was officially launched in 2005. It quickly rose to prominence by introducing the first 2.4 GHz wireless equipment in 2007 and later the 5 GHz frequency band in 2011, establishing itself as a market leader in China.

The company operates a massive, highly automated 80,000m² factory in China, which serves as its primary manufacturing hub. This facility is known for its advanced production processes and adherence to global quality and environmental standards such as ISO 9001 and ISO 14000.

Ownership of the brand remains with Shenzhen Rapoo Technology Co., Ltd., which is a publicly-traded company on the Shenzhen Stock Exchange. The company manages its own R&D, design, and manufacturing in-house, distributing products to over 80 countries worldwide. It has also expanded its portfolio to include specialized gaming gear under the V Series and lifestyle-oriented products under the Ralemo sub-brand.
