Toms Mimoser dark chocolate with roasted hazelnut and nougat

Toms Mimoser is a classic Danish confectionery product consisting of a whole roasted hazelnut covered in smooth nougat on a base of dark chocolate. The brand 'Toms' was founded in 1924 by two Danish pharmacists, Hans Trojel and Victor H. Meyer. Their name originally stands for Trojel og Meyer Succes.

While the brand is deeply rooted in Danish culture, its manufacturing footprint has expanded over the decades. In recent years, the ultimate owner, Toms Group, has centralized much of its chocolate production at its modern facility in Nowa Sól, Poland, while maintaining specialized production and headquarters in Denmark. Since 1974, the company has been owned by the Toms Group Foundation (Gerda og Victor B. Strands Fond), ensuring it remains an independent Danish-owned entity with a focus on sustainable production and charitable contributions.
