Lazartigue Shampoo

Lazartigue is a premium botanical haircare brand founded in 1976 by Jean-François Lazartigue, a visionary hairdresser in Paris. The brand was a pioneer in using high concentrations of botanical ingredients and avoiding harsh chemicals like sulfates and silicones. After facing financial difficulties, the brand was acquired in 2018 by the HLD Group, an investment firm, alongside Didier Tabary (who also heads Laboratoires SVR).

Today, Lazartigue is part of a specialized beauty group that includes other dermo-cosmetic brands like SVR and Le Couvent des Minimes. The brand maintains its heritage of French expertise, with products formulated and manufactured primarily in France. It focuses on vegan, natural-origin formulas and eco-designed packaging, such as recycled plastic bottles and boxes printed with vegetable inks. The ultimate ownership lies with the HLD Group, headquartered in Luxembourg and France.
