Zott Sahne Joghurt is a well-known German dairy product famous for its creamy texture and variety of flavors. This specific variant features a 'Panna Cotta Peach' flavor. The brand was established in 1926 when Anna and Balthasar Reiter purchased a small country dairy in Mertingen, Bavaria. It was later named after Anna's second husband, Georg Zott.
Today, the company is known as Zott SE & Co. KG and remains an independent, family-owned business. Its headquarters and main production facilities are still located in Mertingen and Günzburg, Germany. To meet international demand, Zott has expanded its manufacturing footprint, notably establishing significant production sites in Opole, Poland, and more recently, subsidiaries in Vietnam. The brand is one of the leading dairy producers in Europe, distributing its products to over 75 countries worldwide while maintaining its heritage as a traditional Bavarian family enterprise.
