Römerquelle Prickelnd mineral water

Römerquelle is one of Austria's most prominent mineral water brands, with a history that stretches back to Roman times. The water is sourced from a spring in Edelstal, Burgenland, which is approximately 250 meters deep. The commercial history of the spring began in the 19th century, but the brand as it is known today was officially established in 1965.

In 2003, the brand was acquired by Coca-Cola HBC (Hellenic Bottling Company), which integrated it into its extensive international beverage portfolio. Today, the Edelstal site serves as a major production and logistics hub, not just for the mineral water itself but as one of the largest production centers within the Coca-Cola HBC group. The brand is celebrated for its balanced mineral content and its commitment to sustainability, being a pioneer in using 100% recycled PET bottles in the Austrian market.
