Croky is a legendary Belgian snack brand founded in 1966 by the Huyghe family. The name originates from the family's pet parrot, which also inspired the brand's iconic mascot. Originally produced in West Flanders, the brand has a rich history of ownership changes, including periods under the British company United Biscuits and the American giant PepsiCo.

In 2004, the brand returned to its Belgian roots when it was acquired by the Dick family, owners of the snack manufacturer Roger & Roger. Today, Croky products, including these corn-based tortilla chips, are primarily manufactured at a high-tech facility in Mouscron, Belgium. The plant has seen significant investment to expand production lines for both the Croky brand and various private label contracts for the European market. As of 2026, the brand remains a staple in the Benelux region, representing a successful return to local, family-owned heritage.
