PRAN-RFL Group Products

PRAN-RFL Group is one of the largest and most prominent industrial conglomerates in Bangladesh. The group's journey began in 1981 with the founding of Rangpur Foundry Limited (RFL) by Major General (retd) Amjad Khan Chowdhury, initially focusing on cast iron products like irrigation pumps. In 1985, PRAN (Programme for Rural Advancement Nationally) was established to venture into agro-processing. Over the decades, the two entities merged into a massive enterprise that now dominates several sectors including processed food, beverages, plastics, electronics, and light engineering.

Today, the group operates through a sophisticated network of manufacturing facilities across Bangladesh and has expanded its production footprint to India to support its massive international export business. PRAN-RFL products are now available in over 145 countries, making it a global ambassador for the 'Made in Bangladesh' label. The company is particularly recognized for its vertically integrated model, working with over 100,000 contract farmers to source raw materials for its food and beverage divisions. As of 2026, the group continues to be a leader in the Bangladeshi economy, overseen by the founder's family and headquartered in Dhaka.
