MAPA Sensibilité gloves

MAPA, short for Manufacture d'Articles de Précision en Automatisme, is a historical French brand founded in 1948. It gained fame for inventing the world's first natural latex-dipped glove, revolutionizing hand protection with a "second skin" feel. The brand is particularly well-known in France for its household and professional protective gloves.

Over the decades, MAPA expanded its reach and merged its operations with Spontex to form the Mapa Spontex group. In 2010, the group was acquired by the American company Jarden Corporation, which was subsequently acquired by Newell Brands in 2016. Today, MAPA remains a subsidiary of Newell Brands, maintaining its headquarters in France while utilizing a global manufacturing network. Production occurs in various locations including France, Malaysia, and other international sites to serve more than 80 countries worldwide.
