Bob & Berts is an independent coffee and food chain that originated in Northern Ireland. Founded in 2013 by Colin McClean in the seaside town of Portstewart, the brand was established to provide a high-quality alternative to multinational coffee giants, blending artisan coffee with a robust hot food menu. The brand's signature aesthetic uses blue and yellow to represent the sea and sand of its coastal roots.

The company's coffee is a proprietary artisan blend made from 100% Arabica beans, which is hand-roasted locally in Northern Ireland by the region's oldest roaster. Since its inception, the brand has expanded significantly across the United Kingdom, opening numerous locations in Scotland and England. This growth was accelerated by a major equity investment in 2017 from BGF, a prominent UK investment firm, which helped the brand scale while maintaining its local community-focused identity.
