Flormar Midnight Matte Eyeliner is a high-pigment, quick-drying liquid eyeliner designed for a professional matte finish. The brand was originally founded in Milan, Italy, in the late 1950s by the Şenbay family. Shortly after its inception, the production was relocated to Turkey in 1970, where the brand truly flourished and became the leading color cosmetics brand in the Turkish market.

In terms of ownership, the brand underwent a significant transition in 2024. After being acquired by the French Groupe Rocher in 2012, it was sold in late 2024 to a Turkish consortium. This consortium includes Esas Private Equity, Tacirler Asset Management PE Fund I, and Credia Partners. As of 2026, the brand is under the ultimate ownership of this Turkish investment group, which focuses on expanding the brand's international presence and category reach.
