Arvid Nordquist Original Coffee

Arvid Nordquist is a prestigious Swedish coffee brand with a history dating back to 1884, when its namesake founder opened a delicatessen in Stockholm. The 'Original' (often known as Mellanrost or Classic) blend is one of their most iconic products, recognized by its signature purple packaging.

The coffee is roasted at the company's own roastery in Järfälla, just outside of Stockholm, Sweden. Arvid Nordquist is notable for its commitment to sustainability, utilizing 100% Arabica beans that are 100% climate-compensated and sustainably certified (Rainforest Alliance or Fairtrade). The company remains a family-owned enterprise, now managed by the third generation of the Nordquist family, and continues to serve as a Purveyor to the Royal Court of Sweden.
