Cuétara Napolitanas are iconic cinnamon-flavored biscuits widely recognized in Spain for their thin, crunchy texture and granulated sugar coating. The brand's history is unique, as it was founded in Mexico City in 1935 by the Spanish brothers Juan and Florencio Gómez-Cuétara, who later returned to Spain in 1946 to replicate their success. The brand became a household name in Spain throughout the 20th century.

Currently, the product is manufactured primarily at the Cuétara facility in Villarejo de Salvanés, Madrid, Spain. Ownership of the brand has transitioned through several major food groups; after being part of SOS Cuétara and then Nutrexpa, it became part of Adam Foods in 2015 following Nutrexpa's corporate division. Today, Adam Foods, owned by the Ventura family, manages a broad portfolio of classic Spanish biscuit and pastry brands, maintaining Cuétara's legacy while expanding its international presence.
