Nestlé Maxibon Coconut Paradise

Maxibon is an iconic ice cream sandwich brand that was originally created in Italy in 1989 by the Motta company. It became globally famous after Nestlé acquired the brand in 1993 through its purchase of Italgel. The product is known for its unique dual-textured design: one half is a chocolate-coated ice cream bar with nuts or biscuit pieces, and the other half is a classic ice cream sandwich pressed between two biscuits.

Today, Maxibon is owned by Froneri, a major global ice cream manufacturer formed in 2016 as a joint venture between Nestlé and the private equity firm PAI Partners. Because Froneri operates production facilities across the globe, the product is manufactured in multiple countries to serve regional markets, including primary sites in Italy, the United Kingdom, Spain, and Australia (where it is produced by the subsidiary Peters Ice Cream). The 'Coconut Paradise' variant is a tropical twist on the classic recipe, featuring coconut-flavored ice cream.
