Ebly Tender Wheat

Ebly is a brand of precooked durum wheat, often marketed as a healthy alternative to rice or pasta. The brand originated in France in the early 1990s through a partnership between French grain farmers and researchers looking for new ways to consume wheat. It was originally launched by the agricultural cooperative InVivo (formerly Groupe Union SNCF).

In the mid-1990s, the global food giant Mars, Incorporated acquired a significant stake and eventually took full ownership of the brand. Today, Ebly is manufactured primarily in France, specifically in the Châteaudun region, utilizing French-grown wheat. It is a staple in many European kitchens, known for its quick cooking time and nutritional value. The ultimate ownership remains with Mars, Incorporated, a private American multinational company.
