Alpro No Sugars Soya milk

Alpro is a pioneering European brand specializing in plant-based food and drinks. Founded in 1980 in Wevelgem, Belgium, it initially focused on soy-based products before expanding to almond, oat, coconut, and rice alternatives. The brand has been a significant driver in the mainstream adoption of dairy-free diets across Europe.

Historically, Alpro was a subsidiary of the Vandemoortele Group until it was acquired by WhiteWave Foods in 2009. In a major industry shift in 2017, the French multinational Danone acquired WhiteWave Foods. This placed Alpro under the umbrella of Danone's 'Essential Dairy and Plant-Based' (EDP) division. Today, Alpro continues to produce the majority of its goods in its original Belgian facilities as well as sites in France and the UK, benefiting from Danone's global distribution network.
