Blogger platform

Blogger is a prominent content management system and blog-hosting service. It was originally launched by Pyra Labs in 1999, playing a pivotal role in the early development of the personal blogging movement. The platform's ease of use and accessibility democratized digital publishing, allowing users without coding expertise to maintain their own web logs.

In 2003, the platform was acquired by Google, which integrated it into its ecosystem of services. Following the restructuring of Google into a larger corporate entity, Blogger is now ultimately owned by Alphabet Inc. Today, it remains a stable, cloud-based platform hosted on Google's global server infrastructure, primarily managed from the United States although its services are delivered globally through various data centers.
