Kellogg's Choco Krispies breakfast cereal

Kellogg's Choco Krispies, originally introduced in the United States in the late 1950s as Cocoa Krispies, is a chocolate-flavored puffed rice cereal produced by Kellogg's. The brand has a long history, starting with the Kellogg company founded by Will Keith Kellogg in 1906 in Battle Creek, Michigan.

Starting in 2023 and finalizing in 2024, the Kellogg Company split into two independent public companies: Kellanova (handling global snacking, international cereal, and North American frozen foods) and WK Kellogg Co (handling North American cereal). In the European and Spanish markets, the brand falls under Kellanova. In August 2024, Mars, Incorporated announced an agreement to acquire Kellanova, a transaction expected to close in 2025, which would make Mars the ultimate owner. Manufacturing for the European market, particularly Spain, is typically handled in European facilities such as the Valls plant in Spain or through other regional supply chains.
