Old Holborn Rolling Tobacco

Old Holborn is a classic brand of hand-rolling tobacco that originated in the United Kingdom. It was first developed in 1785 in Holborn, London, by Richard Lloyd & Sons. The tobacco is widely recognized for its dark Virginia tobacco blend and distinctive packaging, which often features historical depictions of the Holborn section of London.

Over the years, the brand transitioned from its British roots to become a significant global player in the tobacco market. Today, Old Holborn is owned and managed by Japan Tobacco Inc. (JT Group), specifically through its international division, JTI (Japan Tobacco International), which is headquartered in Geneva, Switzerland. While the brand has historical ties to the UK, manufacturing for the international market, including the Slovenian-packaged version seen here, takes place in various European production facilities owned by JTI to serve the global demand for fine-cut tobacco.
