Dubro cleaning products

Dubro is a prominent Dutch cleaning brand with roots dating back to the mid-20th century. Originally founded in the Netherlands by the company Dubbelman (and the soap factory De Fenix), it gained fame for its powerful degreasing properties, particularly its concentrated dishwashing liquid. The brand name 'Dubro' is a portmanteau derived from the names of the founders, 'Dubbelman' and 'Broek'.

While the brand maintains a strong identity in the Dutch and Benelux markets as a local staple, it has undergone significant ownership changes. It is currently owned by the Bolton Group, an international conglomerate headquartered in Milan, Italy. As a result, much of the manufacturing and global management has shifted to Italy, though the products remain specifically tailored and marketed for the Dutch consumer base. Note: There is a separate, unrelated American brand called 'DU-BRO' that manufactures radio-controlled hobby accessories, which should not be confused with the European cleaning brand.
