GROM Gelato

Founded in 2003 by Guido Martinetti and Federico Grom in Turin, Italy, GROM started as a high-end gelateria focused on pure, natural ingredients derived from their own farm, Mura Mura. The brand quickly gained international acclaim for its commitment to traditional Italian gelato-making techniques and the exclusion of artificial colorings or emulsifiers.

In 2015, the brand was acquired by the multinational consumer goods giant Unilever. This transition allowed GROM to expand from physical scoop shops into premium retail packaging sold in supermarkets globally. While the brand root and creative heritage remain firmly Italian, the manufacturing is now integrated into Unilever's global supply chain to maintain shelf-stable distribution while maintaining the original recipes and ingredient standards established in Piedmont.
