The cakes are currently manufactured by Premier Foods, a major British food manufacturer, which holds the long-term license to produce Cadbury-branded cake products. The ultimate ownership of the Cadbury brand name, however, lies with the American multinational company Mondelez International.

Today, these rolls are primarily produced in the United Kingdom, specifically at the Premier Foods manufacturing facility in Moreton, Wirral. Despite the complex licensing arrangement between Premier Foods and Mondelez International, the brand maintains its strong British identity and continues to be one of the most recognizable baked snack products globally.
