Post-it Notes are an iconic office stationery product known for their unique low-tack pressure-sensitive adhesive. The brand was famously developed within 3M (Minnesota Mining and Manufacturing Company) in the United States. The accidental invention of the weak adhesive by Dr. Spencer Silver in 1968, followed by Art Fry's application of it to bookmarks in 1974, led to the product's official launch in 1980.
