Violife is a leading global brand in the vegan food sector, specializing in dairy-free alternatives that mimic the taste and texture of traditional cheese. The brand originated in Greece in the 1990s and has since expanded its reach to over 50 countries worldwide. Known for using coconut oil as a primary base, Violife products are non-GMO and free from major allergens such as dairy, soy, and nuts.

While the brand was founded by the company Arivia S.A. in Thessaloniki, Greece, its global success led to its acquisition by the international giant Upfield in 2020. Upfield, which is owned by the investment firm KKR, is currently the world leader in plant-based spreads and cheeses. Today, Violife continues much of its production in its original manufacturing facilities in Drama, Greece, while leveraging Upfield’s massive distribution network.
