Aarke Carbonator

Aarke is a Swedish design brand founded in 2013 by two industrial designers, Jonas Groth and Carl Ljungh. The company focused on creating premium home appliances that merge high-end aesthetics with functional engineering, starting with their flagship sparkling water maker, the Carbonator.

While the brand is deeply rooted in Swedish design principles and maintains its headquarters, research, and development in Stockholm, the physical manufacturing of the products takes place in China. This allows the brand to maintain precision engineering at a scale suitable for global distribution while keeping their design DNA strictly Nordic.

Aarke remains an independent brand, owned by its founders and associated private investors. It has gained international acclaim for being the world's first sparkling water maker with a complete stainless steel enclosure, distancing itself from the plastic-heavy designs typical of the category.
