Star food products

Star (Stabilimento Alimentare) is an iconic Italian food brand founded in 1948 by Regolo Fossati in Muggiò, Italy. It became a household name across Italy by introducing innovative products like the 'Il Mio Dado' bouillon cubes, which revolutionized home cooking in the post-war era. Over the decades, Star expanded its portfolio into sauces, ready-to-use pasta sauces, and the popular Star Tea segment.

In 2006, the Spanish group Gallina Blanca entered into a joint venture with Star, eventually leading to the creation of GBfoods. Today, Star remains a cornerstone of Italian culinary culture while being part of a large multi-national operation that blends Italian heritage with global food industry expertise.
