Junkers is a historic German brand originally founded by Hugo Junkers in 1895. While initially famous for aircraft, its heating division became a pioneer in gas-fired water heating. Today, the Junkers brand is a core part of the Bosch Home Comfort Group.

Manufacturing for these units often takes place in Bosch's specialized factories, with a major production hub for gas water heaters located in Aveiro, Portugal. Under the strategic transition by the parent group, Junkers branding is being integrated with the Bosch brand name to create a unified heating and climate portfolio. Ownership remains firmly with the Robert Bosch GmbH conglomerate, headquartered in Germany.
