STIGA Table Tennis Balls

STIGA is a world-renowned brand in table tennis, originally founded in Sweden in 1944. While the brand carries a deep Swedish heritage and maintains its design and head office in Eskilstuna, most of its high-volume equipment such as table tennis balls and hobby bats are manufactured in China to meet global demand.

The global rights for the STIGA table tennis brand are managed by Stiga Sports AB. Since the early 2000s, the company has operated under a joint ownership structure, with the Swedish investment company Escalade Sports (a subsidiary of the US-based Escalade, Inc.) and the Bandstigen family being key stakeholders. This blend of Swedish engineering and international distribution has kept STIGA at the forefront of the sport.
