Vita Cola Original

Vita Cola is a legendary German soda brand, originally launched in 1954 in the German Democratic Republic (East Germany). It was developed by the Chemische Fabrik Miltitz to provide a socialist alternative to Western cola brands like Coca-Cola. The beverage is distinct for its inclusion of citrus oils and exotic fruit flavors, giving it a unique citrusy profile compared to standard colas.

Following the reunification of Germany, the brand was acquired by Thüringer Waldquell Mineralbrunnen GmbH. Today, Vita Cola remains a cultural icon and market leader in several eastern German states. The production is centralized in Schmalkalden, Thuringia, maintaining its regional roots while being owned under the umbrella of the Hassia Group.
