Jolly Cola soda drink

Jolly Cola is an iconic Danish soft drink that was first introduced in 1959. It was created by the company Dansk Coladrik, which was then a coalition of 18 Danish breweries formed to compete against the increasing dominance of American soft drink brands entering the Nordic market. For decades, Jolly enjoyed immense popularity and was the market leader in Denmark, often outselling major international competitors.

Over the years, the ownership and production of Jolly Cola have transitioned. After a period of decline and multiple changes in ownership, the brand was acquired by the brewery group Bryggeriet Vestfyen. Today, Jolly continues to be manufactured in Denmark at the Vestfyen brewery in Assens, maintaining its legacy as a patriotic alternative to global soda brands and retaining a loyal customer base across the country.
