Dr Pepper soda

Dr Pepper is an iconic carbonated soft drink with a unique blend of 23 flavors, created in 1885 by Charles Alderton in Waco, Texas. It is recognized as the oldest major soft drink brand in the United States, predating Coca-Cola by one year.

Today, the brand is owned by Keurig Dr Pepper (KDP) in the United States, following the 2018 merger between Dr Pepper Snapple Group and Keurig Green Mountain. While KDP owns the brand, the manufacturing and distribution process is unique: in many regions, Dr Pepper is bottled by competitors such as Coca-Cola or PepsiCo through licensing agreements. Globally, rights to the drink are often managed by different entities, such as Coca-Cola in much of Europe and South Korea, and Suntory in the United Kingdom.

Keurig Dr Pepper remains a major player in the global beverage industry, headquartered in Burlington, Massachusetts, and Plano, Texas. The company continues to expand its' reach through diverse distribution partnerships across North America and international markets.
