Tilda Steamed Basmati Rice

Tilda is a premium rice brand that was originally founded in the United Kingdom in 1970. It was the first company to bring Basmati rice to the Western market at a large scale. The brand is known for its high-quality sourcing, primarily from the foothills of the Himalayas.

Historically an independent British company, Tilda was acquired by Hain Celestial in 2014 before being sold to the Spanish food giant Ebro Foods in 2019. Today, while the rice is sourced internationally (predominantly from India and Pakistan), the processing and packaging for the 'steamed' range shown in the image primarily take place in the United Kingdom at their facilities in Rainham.
