SCARPA (Società Calzaturiera Asolana Riunita Pedemontana Anonima) is a historic Italian brand renowned for its premium mountain footwear. Founded in 1938 in the Montebelluna region of Italy—the world's premier footwear district—the brand was established by Lord Rupert Edward Cecil Guinness with the goal of gathering the best shoemakers in the Asolo area to produce artisanal footwear.

In 1956, the Parisotto family took over the company and transformed it from a local workshop into a global powerhouse in the climbing, trekking, and skiing sectors. To this day, the Parisotto family maintains complete ownership and management of the company. While the headquarters and the production of their most complex technical boots remain in Asolo, Italy, the company has expanded its manufacturing footprint to specialized facilities in Romania and Asia to satisfy global demand while maintaining strict quality control.
