Fresquito is a classic Spanish confectionery product consisting of a lollipop that is dipped into carbonated popping candy powder. It was originally launched by the Spanish company Fiesta, which became an iconic brand in Spain during the 20th century, particularly known for its 'Kojak' lollipops and 'Fresquito' candy.
After facing financial difficulties in the 2010s, Fiesta was eventually acquired by the Colombian multinational confectionery group Colombina. Today, while the brand maintains its distinct Spanish heritage and production facilities in Alcalá de Henares (Madrid), the ultimate ownership lies with Colombina, one of the largest food companies in South America.
